Muscat: On the occasion of Women Gynecologic Cancer Awareness month, Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Center (SQCCCRC) organised a meeting for physicians specialising in Women’s Health and working in the Sultanate’s government and private hospitals.
Dr. Khadra Ahmed, Senior Consultant in Gynecological Oncology spoke about the Department of Gynecological Oncology at SQCCCRC and the modern possibilities and advanced treatment methods that it provides to cancer patients, in addition to an explanation of the mechanism of transferring patients.
“Dr. Ana Paula, a consultant in Radiation Oncology, spoke about the radiotherapy department, which provides world-class services for the first time in the Sultanate of Oman, with the expertise and competencies of the best doctors from different nationalities,” SQCCCRC said in a statement.
