Muscat: Fines for lease contracts, all municipal licenses and their annexes for commercial activities will be exempted, provided they are renewed before December 31,2021, Muscat Municipality said on Thursday.
“Based on the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 issued on September 22,2021, and in the interest of the public, the Muscat Municipality has decided to provide the following exemptions:
1. Exemption from fines for all municipal licenses and commercial activities annexes, provided that they are renewed before December 31, 2021.
2. Exemption from fines for all lease contracts, provided that they are ratified before December 31, Muscat Municipality said in a statement.
Muscat Municipality urged all beneficiaries of its services to take advantage of the period of exemption from fines and to urgently correct and update their documentation before December 31, 2021. The municipality also reminds all beneficiaries that all licenses that expired on December 31, 2019 or less will be canceled in the event that data and conditions are not corrected beyond December 31, 2021.
