Paris: Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Sciences (ONCECS) is currently participating in the 8th Interregional meeting of National Commissions of the member states in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The participation came on the sidelines of the 41st session of the General Conference of UNESCO, currently being held at the organization’s headquarters in the French capital, Paris, from 9 to 24 November 2021.
At the meeting, Amna Salim al Balushi, Secretary-General of ONCECS, thanked UNESCO for its efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The participants discussed the main objectives of the current session of the General Conference, the new normative tools, and a report on the future of education. –ONA
