Shaikh Yaqoub bin Saif al Shehimi, Director-General of Education in the Governorate of Dhofar, concluded his visit to the schools in the Wilayat of Maqshan.The visit covered Maqshan School for Basic Education, Manader School for Basic Education, and Qutabit School for Basic Education in the Wilayat of Thamrait.
During the visit, the DG interacted with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the schools and got feedback of the progress on the educational process, demands and needs of the schools, and issues being faced by them.
He put stress on students’ levels, while assuring all possible support to raise the academic standards of the schools and students.
He called upon the staff members to focus on educational losses due to Covid-19 and commitment to the health protocols and all possible precautionary measures for the safety of students and employees.
He appreciated the efforts towards improving the educational institutions in the governorate and called for coordination between various authorities in the ministry and the governorate’s educational institutions.
