Security Assistant
Experience & Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma
Minimum of 3-5years of experience in Shopping Malls/Hotels/Theme parks
Basic computer skills with proficiency, CCTV skills an added advantage
Good Communication skills
Professional Security, HSE and First Aider (advanced level) qualification
JOB PROFILE
To lead and direct the mall security function and to provide a safe and secure environment for the shoppers and tenants of the mall.
Develop plans & systems to maximize the safety of customers & mall assets.
Develop the Mall Emergency Response Procedure and update on an annual basis
Establish and deliver safety plans that provide day to day internal and external security of the mall.
Job Description & Overall Responsibilities
To lead the emergency evacuation drills and ensure the upkeep of the routes for the same (especially BOH areas)
To handle emergency situations like Fire, Accidents, Medical emergencies etc.
To lead the team of security guards to ensure the safety and security of the premises
To ensure no loss is caused to property, equipment’s etc.
To handle Frauds, theft cases, conflict management, etc.
To work constantly on productivity of security team to ensure budgeted costs for the function are in control
Plan and ensure proper deployments of Guards at the time of Events / Promotions
Crowd and traffic management at the time of Sale / promotions / events / occasions
Develop good working relationships with
Local Government authorities (Police, Civil defense, Municipality etc)
Retailers security staff
Oversee the traffic management function to ensure proper coverage at peak times and avoid bottlenecks
