Requirements
The minimum requirements for the position are:
Qualification:
BSc and PhD in mathematics. All specialties will be considered, but special preference will be given to applicants with active research in Differential Geometry, Complex Analysis, Classical and Fractional Differential Equations.Teaching Experience:
At least 2 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized academic institution. All teaching is in English.
Scholarship:
Research contributions must be demonstrated through publication in international peer-reviewed journals.
Rank: Assistant/Associate. Giving the rank of Associate Professor is subject to the candidate qualifications and avilability of grade.

The Department of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University is inviting applicants for full-time faculty position in Petroleum Engineering starting in September 2021. Highly qualified applicants with doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering in areas related (but not limited) to enhanced oil recovery, formation evaluation and drilling engineering at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels are welcomed.
