Graduate with exit qualification of recognized structured Genetic Residency Training Program
Preference will be given for those with experience in medical cancer genetics
He/she should be able to:
Diagnose complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them and conducting general tests.
Counsel patients on genetic disorders and its background.
Order genetic tests and interpret the results.
Communicate results to patients and other health professionals
Participation in multi-disciplinary meetings in the center
Participate in genetic research activities.
Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
Keep up-to-date with developments in the field of medical genetics

Education/Qualifications
Bachelors of Genetics
Holders of masters of genetic counselling and experience in genetic counselling are preferred.
He or She would be able to:
Obtaining family history and drawing family pedigree using family pedigree software.
Coordinating genetic testing for patients and their families
Attending multi-disciplinary meetings in the center
Preparing power point presentations and discussing cases in the multi-disciplinary meetings
Communicating results -under supervision-to patients and relevant members of the treating team.
Engaging in clinical and basic science research with the various teams in the center.

Minimum Requirements:
MBA and/or Master’s degree in Information Technology
Minimum 6 years post Master
Experience of working in Linux environments
Ability to understand hospital and industry requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Job Description:
Design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications including research, design, documenting and modifying throughout the production lifecycle
Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports when required
Responsibilities may also include mentoring Jr. Developers as needed
Working with colleges on component and architecture change
Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications
Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects
Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
Research and document requirements of software users
Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of HIS/EMR
Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades
Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process
Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
Assist in software deployment as required based on build specification
Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products
