Muscat: Dhofar Governorate Police Command arrested three people on charges of stealing from 8 commercial stores.
The police seized stolen items which included electrical devices, steel safes as well as stolen cash amounts.
Legal procedures against the defendants are yet to be completed.
Meanwhile, Coast Guard Police vessels in Dhofar Governorate seized a boat carrying three infiltrators of an Arab nationality while attempting to smuggle 1,500 bundles of khat into the country.
