An initiative of the Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Authority of SME Development (Riyada), to register 100 companies on the famous Amazon website, will be launched soon, the Authority announced on its official website.
The programme aims to take small and medium enterprises to the global level and open up new horizons for them regionally and internationally.
It is also part of initiatives by the Ministry of Economy to support and sustain economic development by encouraging the SME sector – a goal prioritised by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
The programme will offer practical training and live sessions with experts in e-commerce, as well as practical exercises and video clips to facilitate the e-marketing process for small and medium enterprises that are on the list.
In the context of the digital transformation witnessed by the commercial sector worldwide, the Sultanate of Oman is also keeping pace with the developments globally.
