COVID-19: Over 300,000 students aged 12-17 vaccinated in Oman

Muscat: More than 300,000 students aged 12 to 17 years have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Oman.

“The total number of vaccinations for the age group 12 to 17 years of school students in all governorates of the Sultanate within the national campaign for immunisation against COVID-19 until yesterday reached 305,530, at 90 per cent of the total target number of 339,661 students from public and private schools,” ONA said in a statement.

ONA added that the total of the targeted vaccinators with one dose amounted to 277,381 at a rate of 81.6 per cent, while the total of those vaccinated with two doses amounted to 28,149, at 8.3 per cent.
