Muscat: The Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria has appreciated Oman Vision 2040 and the investment opportunities it presents in various fields.
“The Sultanate and Austria have stressed the importance of constructive dialogue in order to resolve various issues and current regional and international crises during a joint press conference that was held at the Ministry of Foreign,” Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.
His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, described the memorandum of understanding for political consultations signed by the two friendly countries as a new stage for developing the existing bilateral relations between the two sides.
His Excellency Alexander Schallenberg, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, said that the Sultanate and Austria support the efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen and have identical views on many files in the region, such as the Yemeni crisis, Iran and the emerging situation in Afghanistan.
He praised Oman Vision 2040 and the investment opportunities it presents in various fields, stressing the keenness of Austrian companies to take advantage of the available opportunities and incentives that the Sultanate offers to investors.
