Mobile bus Covid-19 vaccination campaign launched

Muscat: The Directorate-General of Health Services, in cooperation with Aster Al Raffah Hospital, launched a two-week Covid-19 vaccination campaign on a mobile bus in the Governorate of Muscat, on Sunday.

In comments to ONA, Dr Lamia bint Hussein al Balushiyah, Director of Disease Control at the Directorate-General of Health Services in Muscat Governorate, said the health and medical team on board the bus will be administering Covid-19 vaccine for citizens and residents near Muscat Mall in Al Mabella South for two days from 4 pm to 8 pm. The mobile bus will then move to the public area near City Centre in Al Mawalih South.

Al Balushiyah added that the service will also be available in the wilayats of Bushar, Mutrah, Muscat and Al Amerat, until February 24.

The mobile bus vaccination campaign aims to increase the number of the vaccinated with three doses particularly the booster dose which has so far received low turnout. — ONA
