يترقب عشاق الساحرة المستديرة، القمة المنتظرة التي تجمع ريـال مدريد مع جاره أتلتيكو مدريد، في التاسعة إلا ربعا مساء اليوم السبت، بنهائى دوري أبطال أوروبا لكرة القدم، على استاد «سان سيرو» معقل ميلان الإيطالى.وتعد هذه المرة الثانية التي يلتقى فيها في نهائى دوري الأبطال، فريقان من نفس المدينة، والسادسة من نفس البلد.
ويسعى أتلتيكو مدريد للثأر من جاره اللدود، وتحقيق اللقب للمرة الأولى بعد أن خطف منه الريـال اللقب في عام 2014، عقب الفوز عليه بنتيجة 4/ 1 بالمباراة النهائية، بينما يأمل المرينجى في حصد اللقب للمرة الـ11 في تاريخه.
ويتواجد في ديربى نهائى الأبطال نحو 44 لاعبًا يمثلان عملاقى العاصمة الإسبانية وسط تعدد واضح في جنسيات اللاعبين الذين يمثلون بلادهم، خاصة أن «شامبيونزليج» تمثل بالنسبة لهم حلما يساوى كأس العالم، لعدم قدرة منتخباتهم على تحقيق اللقب الأكبر في عالم كرة القدم، ما يجعل دوري الأبطال الكأس الممكن رفعه في مسيرتهم الكروية.
ويأمل زين الدين زيدان مباراة ريال مدريد واتلتيكو مدريد «الأستاذ»، المدير الفنى للريـال، أن يكون أول مدرب فرنسى يحقق لقب الأبطال، وسابع لاعب ومدرب يحقق اللقب، حيث فشل 4 مدربين فرنسيين في تحقيق اللقب من قبل هم: ألبرتو باتو الذي لم يحالفه الحظ في تحقيق اللقب عامى 1956 و1959 عقب خسارته في المباراة النهائية، أمام ريـال مدريد في المرتين، وروبرت هيربان الذي خسر البطولة رفقة سانت إتيان أمام بايرن ميونخ الألمانى في عام 1976، وديديه ديشامب الذي خسر مع موناكو في المباراة النهائية أمام بورتو البرتغالى عام 2004، وأرسين فينجر الذي خسر المباراة النهائية رفقة أرسنال الإنجليزى، أمام برشلونة الإسبانى في نهائى 2006.
كما يسعى دييجو سيميونى «الشولو»، لفك عقدة المدربين الأرجنتينيين في هذه البطولة بعد فوز مواطنه هيريرا بلقبين متتاليين عامى 1964، 1965 مع فريق إنتر الإيطالى، ومنذ هذا التاريخ لم يحقق أي مدرب أرجنتينى اللقب، حيث خسر هيكتور كوبر المدير الفنى للمنتخب الوطنى لقب البطولة رفقة فالنسيا الإسبانى، في عام 2000 بعد أن سقط في المباراة النهائية أمام ريـال مدريد بثلاثية نظيفة.
