The English Forum Competition

Dear members this topic is written specially for a competition
The name of the competition is "My thought"

The Description of the competition:
each member has to compose a poem
in which shows his or her thinking towards any issue that matters in Oman
In other words
a person is needed to write about any issue
tourism for instance
in Oman
and expresses in way or another his or her point of view, what he or she thinks about that issue, and a solution if possible

The rules :In this competition,,,, I would like to announce the following

The topic should be a poem
It should not be less than 8 lines or more than 16
It should be about an issue that is concerned in Oman
It should be submitted to me in a private message before 28/12/2009

I am going to ask judges from out the forum to evaluate each work
The judges are going to be announced later on

And the evaluation would be as the following

The language Orgnaisation and structure 10
The scale of the matter,(its importance) strong, weak, middle 10
The thought that the poem carries (your expression) 10
The attraction the poem has 5

It is out of 35

Finally, I hope you enjoy writing, rather than thinking what to write

I used to know nothing about poems
I am not asking to write one of the SHakespearian sonnets
though, I believe we can do the same and better
I am sking to try the best to do so
if not a poem, a semi-poem
at least a participation and a joyful time we spend at the forum
I hope all understand the concept and the aim of the competition

Emmm, if it is coming from u, surely you can
others can only write about Oman real issues
I just want by enlimiting the categories about Oman issue, to informate ourselves about what is going on in Oman
what Oman wants, what problems it has, and how they gonna be solved
we share alot of fears, thoughts and believes about certain things, yet we just decide to keep them inside our chests
I think this is a great chance to win many goals
