To be part of Natinal Data Center (NDC) operation team to carry out all storage/backup related tasks to operate and maintain the NDC storage/backu infrastructure.

Overview:
To be part of Natinal Data Center (NDC) operation team to carry out all storage/backup related tasks to operate and maintain the NDC storage/backu infrastructure.
Main responsibilities:
- To Administrate NDC storage environment for HP Storage arrays.
- To provide troubleshooting and management on HP StorageWorks shuch as XP12000 & XP24000 Disk Arrays and HP StorageWorks Enterprise Systems such as ESL 712e Tape Library.
- To maintain HP Storage arrays hardware and software perferbly HP StorageWorks XP24000 Disk Arrays and HP StorageWorks Enterprise Systems ESL 712e Tape Library and HP Data Protector.
- To monitor storage to ensure availability for all clients and perform normal configuration as per the clients SLAs.
- To identify, diagnose, and resolve storage and backup problems to maintain KPIs and SLAs with NDC clients.
- To manage performance tuning and capacity planning activities to enhance the performance of the storage and backup resources.
- To perform sechudled backups and restoration drills as per clients backup and restoration policies and submit periodical reports.
- To analyse user support statistics and other data and recommend appropriate measures.
- To develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate it to operation team memebers and relevant managers.
- To review Service Request Forms (SRF) of the NDC clients to asses storage and backup requirements and forward recommendations to NDC operation team.
- To participate in reviewing NDC clients Service Level Agreements (SLAs) from the storage and backup point of view.
- To review all technical reports provided by contractor storage team and forward recommendations to enhance the system efficiency.
- To assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations
- To participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
- To assist in developing, maintaining and updateing ITIL based NDC processes and proceadures related to all electromechanical systems.
