The Process Risk Management (PRM) Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of Oxy Mukhaizna Process Risk Management Programs as directed by PRM supervisor.
This Process Risk Management (PRM) Engineer responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Liaise with the Facility and Construction departments and Operations Teams to obtain the correct Technical Information about the processes and operations taking place in facilities in order to provide an adequate database to support the required elements of a PRM program.
Responsible for managing and administering Management of Changes Programs (MOC).
Responsible for managing and administering Process Hazards Review and Risk Assessments (PHRRA).
Responsible for managing and administering Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA),
Responsible for managing and administering Incident Reporting and Investigation and other Safety and Risk requirements.
Responsible for managing Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
Maintain the on-line MOCs, PHAs & RCFAs actions tracking system.
Participate or lead a team of auditors to execute the internal and supplier Audit program.
Report to management on the effectiveness of Process Risk Management (PRM) Program.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Process Safety Management, Process Risk Management or HES fields.
Experience in conducting safety system audits
Experience in TapRoot and PHA Pro software is preferred.
Experience in Thermal and Steam flooding is preferred.
Completion of an accepted Process Safety Management training course is preferred.
Documented training and qualification to perform facility site reviews from a Process and Safety Risk viewpoint.
Experience in Technical writing.
Good communications and interpersonal skills.
Good PC skills.

The HES Specialist will be responsible for supporting Field Management and personnel in all aspects related to Health, Environment and Safety. Coordinate and audit the field implementation of the HESMS. Maintain records and reporting systems to permit the analysis and evaluation of Health, environment and Safety data. Teach and mentor all field personnel in the application of all company and regulatory HES related policies and procedures.
A. Health, Environment and Safety Management System
1. Perform all the tasks listed in the job Performance standards for middle managers/supervisors of the HES Management Reference Manual as related to HES duties. Coordinate and support in the implementation of HES Management System and Emergency Management System, including program implementation, audits, inspections, contractor HES program support and other HES activities applicable to field operation.
B. Health and Safety Management
2. Develop and expand personal knowledge of HES Management, safety/risk engineering and occupational health activities.
3. Support all HES department activities.
4. Assist with maintaining HES department filing systems and databases.
5. Participate in health and hygiene inspections of Oxy and contractors facilities, audit the camp clinic medical records and ensure that medical equipment is in good working order.
C. Environment Management
1. Ensure compliance with the environmental regulations of Oman and Occidental policy, with particular Emphasis on the handling of all waste.
2. Advise management on cost effective solutions to environmental problems and innovations in environmental management techniques.
3. Monitor and report all environmental costs related to our operations
4. Develop and maintain a comprehensive environmental records system.
5. Participate in environmental assessments by management, the Ministries, OOGC, OPC etc.
6. Perform internal environmental audits and inspections of our operations and report results, findings and recommendation to management.
7. Liaise with field personnel to promote environmental awareness.
Qualifications
- BSc degree in Engineering or related Science in Chemical, Safety and Environment Engineering, Soil & Water resources and process Engineering with at least 3 years of related experience or Diploma in Chemical, Safety and Environment Engineering, Soil & Water resources and process Engineering with at least 7 years of related experience.
- Professional HES certificate (IOSH or NEBOSH) is preferred.
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Omani and international HES standards and legislation as applicable to oil and gas industry

The Facility Electrical Engineer will be responsible to provide electrical infrastructure project management, leadership, direction. Ensure to provide facility and operations teams with update on application of technology, planning and cost controls solutions. The position shall administer projects supports such as preparation of technical specifications, guidelines and supports required to build all electrical surface facilities.
1. Manage assigned electrical projects to enable the delivery of projects effectively. The roles can be extended to cover but not limited to the following:
· Overall project management such as preparation of scopes, engineering thru to commissioning and handover
· Provide resources to review drawing, specifications, construction scopes of works in conjunction with facility and operations teams, and ensures appropriate language is built into contract.
· Project document control systems
· Cost analysis, control and reporting
· Project planning and scheduling
· Review and application of Electrical infrastructures modeling such as EDSA
2. Provides regular analysis of electrical systems and manages the interface between end users in field and Muscat.
3. Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis independently.
4. Advises the Facilities Manager on software, tools to be used suite, and makes recommendations accordingly.
5. Co-ordinate, prepare and monitoring of department electrical enhancement budget including cost control and variance assessment and reviews.
6. Develop plans for electrical integrity assessment such as facility technical information, identification/classifications, pre-start-up integrity reviews and audits.
7. Lead the follow-ups with Supply Chain personnel in the procurement process of any materials required for capital projects.
8. Facilitate preparation of facility monthly, annual and other reports to MOG and other shareholders.
9. Other duties as assigned inline with expertise.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in electrical engineering
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical design and construction, of which a minimum of 5 years experience in management of engineering, operations, and maintenance systems.
Strong project management. Familiarity with contract management, schedule and cost controls, Quality Management System and HSE practices.
Thorough knowledge of applicable project management and engineering planning software such as MS-projects, primavera and alike.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on experience on electrical network modeling such as EDSA.
