Summary
As an introduction to this seminar, we make a presentation about ethical issues in an e-learning environment by giving some examples from around the world. After that, we provide evidence of the conscience about plagiarism at highest level in the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman. Indeed, we prove that plagiarism contributes to knowledge weakness. Research was conducted proposing, a model of plagiarism effect on students’ scores using a plagiarism checker through an e-learning management system, “Blackboard” implemented recently in all colleges of applied sciences. In conclusion we propose some ideas about future development related to plagiarism prevention
