Vaccination campaign for second dose to begin in Al Dhahirah

Muscat: Al Dhahirah Governorate will start a campaign to vaccinate residents with the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine from Sunday 3 October till Thursday, 7 October.

“The Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dhahirah Governorate announces the start of a campaign to vaccinate residents with the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for those who took the first dose from the Ministry of Health from Sunday 3/10/2021 to Thursday 7/10/2021 in the selected immunisation centers,” the Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dhahirah Governorate said in a statement.

Immunisation centers are at Ibri (Al Muhallab Ibn Abi Sufra), Yanqul (Wali Yanqul office hall) and Dhank (Dhank gymnasium).  The timing will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

The Directorate added: “A text message will be sent to the target numbers, and no vaccines will be given without showing the text message. Attendance mandatory on the same day and place specified in the text message, besides presenting the vaccination certificate for the first dose of the (Oxford-AstraZeneca) vaccine and bringing the resident card.”
