Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received phone calls from Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar, Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and Mahmoud Abbas, President of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, to check the situation in the Sultanate, after it was exposed to Cyclone Shaheen.
They expressed their solidarity with the Sultanate, praying to the Almighty to grant His Majesty good health and to spare him and the Omani people from all harm and misfortune.
M expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the leaders for their kind initiative, praying to the Almighty to protect them and their countries from all evil and harm.
