Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received two phone calls from Emir of the State of Qatar and Deputy Emir and Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait to check on the situation in Oman following its exposure to the tropical cyclone Shaheen. His Majesty also received a cable from His Excellency Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine – Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation.
“His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik receives two phone calls this evening from his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Emir and Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, to check on the situation in the Sultanate following its exposure to the tropical situation Shaheen,” ONA said in a statement.
“His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the two Highnesses for their kind initiative, praying to God Almighty to protect them and their two brotherly countries from all evil and harm.”
