Muscat: A ‘Ghaf al-Qalaa’ tree, which was uprooted in Ruwi during the cyclone in the past few days has been replanted by Muscat Municipality.
“In the interest preserving the environment and for aesthetics, the municipality replanted a ‘Ghaf al-Qalaa’ tree in Ruwi; after it was uprooted during the tropical condition Shaheen,” a statement by Muscat Municipality said.
“The municipality is working to inventory the perennial trees in the Governorate of Muscat and preserve them in coordination with the concerned authorities.”
