Muscat: On the occasion of the Holy Prophet’s Birthday, October 19, (Tuesday) will be an official holiday for employees in the departments of the state administrative apparatus, other legal entities and people working in the private sector.
The birthday of Prophet Mohammad is celebrated on the 12th day of Rabi Al Awwal. In Arabic, the holiday is referred to as Eid Al Mawlid Al Nabawi
