MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik presided over a meeting of the Council of Ministers, on Tuesday morning at Al Baraka Palace.
During the meeting, His Majesty reviewed the conditions on the local arena, commending the efforts exerted by all the state authorities in all sectors and fields.
His Majesty listened to the executive situation for dealing with the latest weather condition, praising the values of the Omani society displayed by the people of Oman in supporting national action.
His Majesty affirmed his follow-up to the measures taken to deal with the condition.
His Majesty directed all the state sectors to coordinate with each other in order to get prepared to handle the impacts of such weather conditions that might occur in the future through strategic plans for disaster management that take future changes into consideration.
His Majesty affirmed that the state general budget for the fiscal year 2022 has come in line with the goals of Tenths Five-Year Plan which aims to realize a set of objectives pertaining to the economic and social development most notably sustaining fiscal balance, enhancing economic growth, encouraging investment, encouraging the private sector to lead the economic diversification efforts.
His Majesty directed all the state sectors to cooperate with each other to sustain fiscal balance and to carry on with paths of development in all sectors.
In this context, His Majesty affirmed the importance of working on an integrated system that enables all the authorities to take necessary measures in order to achieve the goals of the Oman Vision 2040 through cooperation with the Implementation Support and Follow-up Unit.— ONA
