MUSCAT: The Financial and Economic Committee of Majlis Ash’shura reviewed the draft general budget of the state for the fiscal year 2022 referred by the government, at a meeting held on Tuesday.
The committee discussed its plan and executive programme for studying the draft budget. The committee discussed a proposal for hosting a number of government experts and specialists to explain the details of the budget so that the committee can prepare a detailed report that will include a set of recommendations to be discussed at the meetings of Majlis Ash’shura at the beginning of the third annual session which is expected to begin in November.
The committee also reviewed the agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of Hungary for mutual encouragement and protection of investments.
