MUSCAT: In implementation of the Royal directives issued by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to expedite the employment of Omani job-seekers, and in continuation to the national efforts exerted by the Sultan’s Armed Forces to open the door for citizens to join the military service, the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, on Saturday received a new batch of citizens amidst precautionary measures against Covid-19.
Having passed the evaluation stage, medical fitness tests and personal interviews, the new recruits will undergo the basic military programme which qualifies them to join various units of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO).
The Royal Army of Oman has employed its capacities, experiences, specialized manpower, administrative requirements and means of transport to ensure seamless implementation of the required procedures for joining the military service. — ONA
