Investments Associate – Private Markets
Objective:
This role is primarily responsible for Asset Management in Private Markets’ activities including maintaining, monitoring, analyzing and reporting information relating to existing portfolio companies and their performance, valuation, financial indicators, relevant industry data, and peer group analysis and analyzing, recommending and reporting on value-added initiatives and growth potential within the portfolio companies.
Key Tasks:
- Manage existing investments in relation to its goals and objectives.
- Maintain, Monitor, analyze and report information relating to portfolio companies including their performance, financial indicators, relevant industry data, and peer group analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and review comprehensive financial models.
- Prepare regular periodic and ad-hoc reports of the portfolio, portfolio companies, industries and markets.
- Proactively analyze, recommend, and lead value-adding initiatives and new investment opportunities within the portfolio companies including the participation and management of the due diligence process.
- Keep abreast of developments in financial markets and advise on economic trends and operational and financial updates.
- Carry out other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Required Skills:
- Sound quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to pay attention to details and work on a tight timeline
- Excellent communication and public relation skills are required
Key Qualifications:
- CFA or relevant professional certification is required.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance / Management / Economics / Mathematics or other related commercial discipline is required
- Minimum 6 years of professional work experience in private equity or a relevant field
