Mackinnon Bruce International have been engaged on a search by a global Oil & Gas solutions and service provider for a Senior Field Service Technician.
This position will be primarily based in Oman doing remote work on troubleshooting, servicing, and changing compressors. There will also be some time spent in Abu Dhabi for training purposes.
Ideal candidates will come from a Mechanical Engineering background (degree-educated), experience with static & rotating equipment, and has Gas Compression project experience.
The Compressors/Engines the Field Service Technician will work with are:
Ariel
Caterpillar
Waukesha
This position will be on a rotation basis with five weeks on and five weeks off. The Field Service Technician will report into the Country Manager.
This position offers a competitive salary, great rotation, and is an urgent hire.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably 20 years of experience.
Degree-educated (Bachelor’s), preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with OEM equipment – Ariel, Waukesha, and Caterpillar
Gas Compression project experience
Experience with static & rotating equipment
