Doha: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, paid a royal visit on Monday to Al Bayt Sports Stadium in Al Khor, one of the stadiums that will host the World Cup (Qatar 2022), as part of the visit of His Majesty to the State of Qatar.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was received by Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and a number of senior officials.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani were briefed on models of all the stadiums of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament, and their features.
