Muscat: There are chances of thunderstorms accompanied by active downward winds and hail in the governorates of Musandam, North and South al Batinah, Muscat, parts of the Al Hajar Mountains (Al Dakhiliyah, South al Batinah, and Al Buraimi), and the coastal areas of South al Sharqiah in the afternoon and evening.
Citizens and residents have been urged to exercise caution during thunderstorms associated with cumulus clouds, which may lead to the flying of unstable objects due to active downward winds and overflowing wadis.
