Assistant Store Manager
Key Objectives:
Adopting an own business mentality towards driving sales and delivering excellent customer service.
Meet and improve upon agreed Business and Store level budgets.
Focused upon delivering the Kiddy Zone retail standards
Development of own team for future promotion (succession) opportunities
Accountable for controlling stock levels within the store and ensuring stock loss remains within the agreed budget.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Customer Service
The Store Manager will be required to ensure that at all time and in all areas of the operation the highest standards of customer service are achieved and expected as the norm. This will reflect in product knowledge as well as the manner in which the team deals with customers both at the point of sale and for any after sales service provided. The Store Manager will also be required to set up a method of tracking the service levels against competitors.
Stock Availability
Ensure the proper in store control of stocks through liaising with the Buying Department in order to meet the demands and requirements of the business and customers. The Store Manager also ensures the availability and security of stock in the store through the implementation of agreed delivery plans and by following company procedures relating to stock movement.
