Doha: Tunisia defeated Mauritania 5-1 in the match played on Tuesday between the two teams at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, in the first match of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021, which will be hosted by Qatar until December 18, with the participation of 16 teams, under the supervision of FIFA.
Seifeddine Jaziri (two goals), Firas Belarabi (two goals), and Youssef Msakni (one goal) scored goals for the Tunisian team, while the only goal of the Mauritanian team was by Moulay Bessam scored from a penalty kick.
The Tunisian team secured their first 3 points at the beginning of the campaign in their group, which also includes the UAE and Syria teams. The Mauritanian team remained with zero points.
