Muscat: The Environment Authority has arrested several people who violated wildlife protection rules by hunting 2 Arab gazelles and a group of birds.
The Environment Authority said in a statement: “The Directorate General of Environment in the Governorate of Dhofar, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, arrests people who have violated wildlife protection rules and violated the Environmental Protection Law No. (114/2001), by hunting 2 Arab gazelles and a group of birds.”
“The legal procedures will be completed against them and the equipment will be confiscated.”
