Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HE Shaikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, took part in the celebrations that were held today in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam, on the occasion of the sixtieth independence anniversary of the Republic.
The celebrations were held under the auspices of President Samia Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania, in the presence of a number of leaders and presidents of other countries and their representatives, and a number of senior officials in Tanzania.
His Excellency the Sheikh, Chairman of the State Council, arrived in the capital, Dar es Salaam earlier, and was received by a number of officials from the United Republic of Tanzania.
