Aircraft Technician
Licensed by FAA to perform airframe and power plant maintenance
Perform inspection, maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of limited parts on aircraft as required
Comply with all safety requirements
Maintain hangar support equipment
Complete annual recurrent safety training
Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives
Ensure FAA compliance regulations
Qualifications
Education – Skills – Knowledge – Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Prior experience in a part 91 flight department
A&P Certification required
Desire to obtain IA certification preferred
Experience working with turbine aircraft; XLS+ aircraft preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to lift moderate weight. (up to appx 50lbs)
Detail-oriented character and trouble-shooting skills
Excellent Communication skills
Self-motivated
Ability to work occasional evenings, early mornings, or weekends
