Muscat: The petty officer, Ali Abdulrahman al Balushi, a member of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), died while performing the national duty onboard a naval ship, currently participating with the Pakistan Navy in the joint naval exercise.
The Able Seaman, Sultan bin Salem al Sulaitni, who was also injured in the exercise was transferred to a military hospital in Karachi to receive medical care and specialized treatment.
