MIS SUPERVISOR
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the sustainment, and continuous improvement in IT Service Management; as well as establishing, measuring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to services, processes, operations, and delivery.
Responsible for applications security such as preserving confidentially, integrity and availability of applications, information services, in addition to managing user access rights, logs, audit and preventing data loss to ensure security.
Manage new applications Project Management including initiating, planning, analyzing, executing, monitoring and controlling projects, managing time, cost and scope of projects
Perform day-to-day operational tasks to ensure that the Windows servers and the Virtual server environment are operating appropriately, are available to support the business needs, and any operational issues are proactively resolved.
Serve as primary system administrator for the Corporate Email and CRM environments
Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports, customizations and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
Oversee the department’s Supply and SLA contracts including developing and monitoring supplier contracts for relevant products and services as well as setting up and monitoring relevant and required budgets.
To regularly process quality and exception reports and investigate potential errors and variances.
Prepare annual budgets incorporating the expected systems investment requirements and safe guarding the budget expenditures.
Manage SBJ’s Host Servers, Virtualization platform, iSCSIStorage, Enterprise Backup, Collaboration and CRM Applications, SaaS Systems, Core and Edge Switches, Perimeter UTM’s, WLAN and physical Security systems, Network Connections and all related telecommunications to ensure availability, continuity and security of information systems services.
Manage web services such as WordPress websites, domain hosting, DNS services, Email, FTPs and web publishing
Administer and support Core applications used by the organization (E-Mail, Document Management and Collaboration, Financial Accounting, Sales CRM, Time attendance and ANPR/LPR)
Evaluate outside plant facilities, conduit systems, buried and aerial facilities for both fiber and copper in accordance with industry standards
Manage Site-wide GPON FTTH connectivity and services in coordination with incumbent Telecom Operators.
Qualifications
BSc in Computer engineering or related fields
Masters in MIS is preferred
Professional certificates, e.g. ITIL, PMP, Cisco Voice, Microsoft Server and SQL, Fortinet, Salesforce, Aconex, will be an added advantage
Knowledge & Experience
5- 7 years of experience in the same field
Excellent Know-how and Hands-on experience in networking, storage, backups, security, and Corporate software applications
Knowledge of translating the business processes and linking them with information management systems
Business Continuity concepts and IT Disaster recovery implementation
Strong knowledge and Firsthand Administration of:
Network technologies: Huawei Switching and Wireless LAN
Server & storage platform: HP Enterprise
Virtualization: VMware vSphere (ESXi & vCenter)
Operating system & layered products: MS-Windows Server 2016/2012/2008, SQL-Server, IIS
Security: McAfee ePO, BioStar Access Control, Axis & Milestone CCTV, Fortinet FortiGuard, SSL Certificates
Data center Operational support: Schneider UPS’s, Stulz CW & DX CRAC’s, APC Netbotz, Veeam Enterprise
Applications support: Google Workspace-Business, Salesforce CRM, Oracle-Aconex, Sage 50 Quantum
