His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conferred the Order of Al Nu’man (First Class) on Yousef Furtas, former Honorary Consul General of the Swiss Confederation. The order reflects His Majesty the Sultan’s recognition for the efforts of the former Honorary Consul General and his contribution to developing the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Swiss Confederation. The order was handed over by HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan when he received Furtas in his office here today. The conferment ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General and the two advisers at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad. — ONA
