Muscat: The text of Friday prayers held in mosques are now available for worshippers in four languages, an official from the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has said.
The official confirmed to Times of Oman that the summary of the Friday sermon would be given in four languages: Arabic, English, Urdu and Swahili. Speakers of these languages can obtain a summary of the sermon through the ministry’s website or on Twitter.
The official also confirmed that this approach has been applied since last Friday, to help speakers of these four languages understand the meaning of the sermons held during the weekly Friday prayers.
