Muscat: The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has carried out a field visit to the detention department of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) in Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate.
“A team from the Oman Human Rights Commission conducted a field visit to the detention department of the Royal Oman Police in Sohar, in order to ascertain the special conditions of inmates and the services provided to them in a manner that takes into account the humanitarian aspects in this regard,” OHRC said in a statement.
