Muscat: Traffic has been cut off on Bausher al Amerat Moutain Road due to an accident involving a truck, in which the driver died.
There are reports of oil spills on the road in both directions.
“Work is underway to remove the oil slick and motorists should use the alternative road until the entire process is completed,” the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said in a statement.
