Muscat: An Omani electric car ‘Mays’ was launched as a competitive project on Sunday evening. The car’s acceleration starts from 0-100 km in less than 4.9 seconds.
The car is capable of covering a distance of 500 km on a single charge. The maximum speed of the car is 280 km/h.
The car will be taking part in the Step Conference in Dubai as well as Expo 2020 Dubai.
Haider bin Adnan al Zaabi, Co-founder of Mays Motors, said “We set off for Dubai as we were invited to participate in the Step Conference, as well as the Expo 2020 Dubai.
“We are proud of prompting this Omani achievement to the world” he added.
