MUSCAT: Oman paralympic athletes made an impressive performance at the third West Asian Championship Bahrain 2022.
Saif Hamoud al Muqaibli achieved gold medal in the 100 metres category (T47), Hatem Jamal al Zadjali got silver medal in the 100 metres category (T36). Qusai al Rawahi also won 100 T12 gold medal.
Taha bin Abdullah al Harassi claimed the gold in the 100 metres category (T36), Mohammed bin Jamil al Mashaikhi clinched gold in shot put (F32). Mohammed bin Harith al Qasimi bagged the silver medal in the same category.
Oman athletics disabled team added four another medals, including two gold, silver and bronze.
Talib bin Abdullah al Balushi, snatched the shot put gold medal, and continued his achievement by achieving the silver medal by throwing the javelin. Saif bin Hamoud al Muqaibli achieved the gold medal in 400 metres, while Hatem bin Jamal al Zadjali won the bronze in the event.
