London: RNO Shabab Oman II received a number of visitors while anchoring at West India Docks in the United Kingdom as part of its 6th international tour “Oman, the land of Peace” to Europe.
Air Marshal Sammy Sampson, UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East; Commander of the National Defence College in London and a number of senior officers visited the RNO Shabab Oman II. A number of prominent personalities and military attaches at the foreign embassies in London attended the reception organised on the vessel.
The visitors were acquainted with the roles and mission of RNO Shabab Oman II and the photo exhibition organised onboard the vessel, showcased the landmarks and development in the Sultanate. The visitors were briefed on the course of the vessel, the ports it has anchored at and the challenges the crew faced during the tour.
