Muscat: President Samia Suluho Hassan of Tanzania will pay an official three-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman starting from Sunday.
Tanzanian President Samia Suluho Hassan will meet His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at Al Alam Palace in Muscat and discuss ways to strengthen the Omani-Tanzanian relations, especially in the economic field.
The National Center for Statistics and Information indicates that the volume of Omani exports to Tanzania in 2021 amounted to about OMR40.1 million, and the most important commodities exported to Tanzania were plastics, oil derivatives, electrical and household items.
The volume of Omani imports from Tanzania amounted to about OMR9.500, that included a number of commodities, including foodstuffs and meat.
