Muscat: Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information said that the relationship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt is a firm historic relationship based on the principles of genuine brotherhood, goodwill and exchange of interests to the benefit of the Omani and the Egyptian peoples. The minister of information affirmed that the visit of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi to the Sultanate of Oman would enhance cooperation between the two friendly nations.
In comments to the Middle East News Agency, the minister of information added: “The official visit of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi to his second homeland would boost cooperation in various sectors especially at a time when both countries began implementing their future visions (Oman Vision 2040 and Egypt’s Vision 2030). The Egyptian president’s visit to the Sultanate of Oman would open new opportunities for exchanging expertise and boosting cooperation in the fields of economy, investment, trade, education, media, culture and tourism.”
The minister of information emphasized the significant and vital role played by the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt in addressing a number of regional and international issues and supporting international peace and security specially that the two countries agree on the political tools for resolving these issues most importantly the adoption of dialogue and public interests.
