Muscat: The Ministry of Economy on Monday organised a workshop for different government departments on drafting Budget 2023 inducted the Budget Drafting Electronic System.
Opened by Dr. Nassir Rashid Al Ma’awali, the Ministry of Economy’s Undersecretary, the workshop was aimed at outlining the basics and prerequisites needed to be observed when government departments, authorities and establishments present their respective units’ budgets for next year in line with the Circular on Drafting Budget 2023.
Featuring the updated electronic budget preparation system, the workshop was attended by more than 80 representatives of government units.
