Muscat: The Ministry of Labour, in cooperation with Media Thought organisation, organised a conference on labour empowerment.
The three-day conference aims to groom work abilities and boost professional performance of labour.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Muna Salim Al Jardani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for Vocational Training.
Several working papers were presented during the conference that cover a range of topics, namely on steering the training process and the role of the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) in empowering labour and keeping up with developments, among other topics.
