MUSCAT: Based on the Royal order of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and pursuant to Article (41) of the Law on the Council of Oman, Majlis Ash’shura will begin its fourth annual session (2022-2023) of the ninth term (2019-2023) on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
During its third annual session (2021-2022), Majlis Ash’shura convened 16 ordinary meetings, discussed 5 ministerial statements and approved 10 draft laws and conventions referred to it from the government. The previous session witnessed wide cooperation between the council and the government through meetings held with the ministerial coordination committee and the Council of Ministers.
