Manama: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday visited Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB) as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Upon the arrival of His Majesty the Sultan at the premises of Bahrain EDB, he was received by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board. His Majesty the Sultan was also received by Bahraini ministers and senior officials of Bahrain EDB.
The Crown Prince of Bahrain welcomed His Majesty the Sultan and the accompanying delegation.
Then, His Majesty the Sultan watched a visual display on the Bahrain Economic Development Board presented by Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, who outlined the roles of the Board in enhancing the performance of the Bahraini economy.
The presentation highlighted the relentless efforts exerted by Bahrain EDB in promoting the portfolio of Bahrain at various global markets and attracting investment opportunities to achieve Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
His Majesty the Sultan commended the efforts made by those in charge of the Bahrain Economic Development Board. He wished the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain success in realising the nation’s aspirations.
