Salalah: A flight of Romania charter airline HiSky landed here on Monday, with 116 tourists on board, as part of the winter tourism season programme in the Governorate of Dhofar.
In line with the programme, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is implementing a set of tourism events and activities aimed at attracting local and international tourists. The activities include the Frankincense Season in late November and the Empty Quarter Festival in the Niyabat of Al Shasr in the Wilayat of Thumrait.
The winter tourism season in Dhofar constitutes a return of tourism, which motivates the owners of hotels, camps and all service establishments to present events and activities.
